White spruce


PRINCE ALBERT NATIONAL PARK, Saskachewan -- White spruce (Picea glauca) and black spruce (P. mariana) often occur together, but white spruce is often more abundant on well drained sites, while black spruce is more abundant on poorly drained sites.
